This Privacy Policy explains how Clean Paws Diet ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit cleanpawsdiet.com (the "Website"). We keep data collection to a minimum and we never sell your personal information for money.

  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored in your browser, described in section 5.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To reply to your messages and handle correction or partnership requests
  • To send our newsletter if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To understand how the Website is used and improve our content
  • To display advertising and track affiliate referrals, which fund the Website
  • To keep the Website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and meet legal obligations

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on the following legal bases: your consent (for example for the newsletter and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests (replying to messages, running and securing the Website, and understanding how it is used); and legal obligations where they apply.

5. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

We and our partners use cookies for these purposes:

  • Essential cookies that the Website needs to work and stay secure.
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to understand traffic and popular content. Learn how Google processes this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Advertising: we may display ads served by Google AdSense and other ad networks. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google My Ad Center, and of personalised ads from other vendors at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
  • Affiliate tracking: when you click an affiliate link, the retailer (for example Amazon) may set a cookie to record that you came from our Website. This is governed by the retailer's own privacy policy.

Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may then not work properly.

6. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Website, such as:

  • our web hosting provider (Hostinger) and website software providers;
  • email and newsletter service providers;
  • analytics and advertising partners such as Google;
  • public authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights.

7. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. How Long We Keep Data

  • Contact messages: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data: according to the retention settings of our analytics provider (no longer than 14 months).

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to receive a copy of it, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

U.S. state privacy rights (including California): you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. To opt out of personalised ads, use the options in section 5 or contact us.
